the floor shakes
the air is stale and hot
and i'm forgotten
a town of stairs
and cars and
more stairs and cars
if in french you don't say the 'h'
it's probably logical
that you don't write it in english
around the corner
it is
two degrees warmer

i now have a fairly good idea
of how our boss
must feel all the time
it doesn't matter
if the whole world sweats
as long as the french don't sweat
i'll swim over there
and sink a yacht.
